You Don’t Have to Carry This Alone If anxiety keeps you up at night or depression has dimmed your spark, relief is closer than it feels. Together we’ll turn evidence-based skills into daily habits that let you breathe easier.
Ready for Calm That Lasts Past the Session? Therapy shouldn’t stay locked in the office. My trauma-informed approach teaches your nervous system to settle in real life: heavy work loads, team meetings, three-a.m. stress wake-ups. Steady is possible.
Let’s Turn Surviving Into Steady Living. Maybe you’re functioning on the outside and exhausted on the inside. My job is to bridge that gap—blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and plain-spoken coaching so you feel more like yourself again.
Relationship strain—Whether between partners or across generations— Our work together turns strains into clearer communication and a warmer bond.
In family sessions, Parent-teen standoffs, sibling rivalry, a new stepparent, or caring for aging parents—whatever has the household on edge, we’ll untangle the looping patterns, practice clearer requests and calm boundary-setting, and create a shared “reset” language so everyone can leave the table feeling heard and respected.
We’ll start with a no-cost, 15-minute video or phone chat just enough time for you to share what’s on your mind and see if my approach feels comfortable. Next comes an intake where we map out goals and agree on a therapy plan. From there, weekly or bi-weekly sessions—online or in-person—build the skills and insights that carry you forward.
I’ve spent twenty-eight years helping people move from survival mode to steady ground—first inside community programs, now one-to-one in private practice. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Attachment Theory, always filtered through a trauma-informed lens that honours the nervous system’s need for safety.
Online sessions are available anywhere in Oregon.
In-person appointments take place at:
5778 Commercial St SE, Salem.
In this short, trauma-informed video, I guide you through a simple breathing exercise to help calm the nervous system and bring you into the present moment. You’ll learn how taking one deep, mindful breath can reduce tension, lower stress, and provide an easy way to pause and reset—whether you’re about to start a therapy session or just need a moment of calm in your day. Practice this breathing technique anytime you need to center yourself and find balance.
